Although I heard the "story" behind it... it didn't stop me from enjoying the food and atmosphere. All You Can Eat!!! Good Wine!!!

Highlights: Prime Rib, Chicken Hearts, Grilled Shrimps, and Grilled Pineapples.

I was honored by my close friends and family when we dined at Espestus last Wednesday evening for dinner. For my cousin Jeremy and I this was a return visit which was long overdue. I was so happy to share yet another great dinner with Omar, Ron, Jay, Noah, and Marlone. The wait time was about twenty minutes so we decided to enjoy the bar services and took a moment to share stories. I also noticed the new layout and extension. They had extended the west side of the restaurant that now accommodates additional 100 guests. This really opens up the restaurant providing more walkway for everyone and creates a strong ambiance for evening dining. The colors are natural taking on a resemblance of modern dining facility meets South America.

We started with the open rice, salad, and vegan bar. This time I wanted to try the bean dish which was very good. It reminded me of a Filipino dish that I use to enjoy with my family at my parents house. This was very creamy with the crushed bean texture intact and oh course...I mixed it with the rice. MMMMMMMMmmmm GOOD! Once we arrived back to our table, the waiters started to arrive ( in full force with all the meats). On this night, we feasted like kings with the presentation of lamb, top sirloin, chicken breasts wrapped in bacon, beef chuck, grilled pineapple, chicken hearts, special Brazilian cut (two meats combined together), and our favorite: prime rib. I even asked for the bone part again. Noah did the same because we both knew that this was the tasty part of the prime rib. This was so hilarious that even our waiter laughed with us. As for the red wine, I couldn't remember the name. This went well with the lamb and the Brazilian cut. I really need to start writing my favorite wines down.

As dinner ended, our friends gave us good compliments. I hope that they will return with their family and friends and share this experience!

Recommends for: Birthdays, Anniversaries, and Initimate dinings.
